This summer, Friends of the Earth Scotland is running a national roadshow that will attend various events at locations around Scotland. The aim of the roadshow is to raise support for a strong Scottish Climate Bill, which is making its way through Parliament now.

We need to make sure that the Scottish Climate Bill really delivers what it intends - reducing our emissions in an effective and sustained way. You can find out more about our campaign here.

We'll be attending each event equipped with our inflatable Climate Friendly ‘pod’ tent and lots of enthusiastic volunteers. At the events we'll be chatting with the public about the campaign, and getting people involved by asking them to sign postcards addressed to their MSPs, pledging their support for a strong Bill.

However, we need your help! We're looking for volunteers to help out at our roadshow events. If you are passionate about combating climate change and would enjoy an exciting and sociable day out helping to make a real difference to our future please check the list of provisional dates here, and let us know if you might be available to help.

Some dates will be confirmed on the basis of when volunteers are available, so in some cases multiple options are given. Transport can be provided from Edinburgh. A full briefing on the issues involved will be provided so don’t worry about ‘not knowing enough’. We’re looking for people with enthusiasm, dedication and reasonable communication skills – you don’t have to be an expert!

Please get involved and help to make the roadshow a success
