Want to take action against climate change? Have issues with an incinerator proposal? Perhaps you want to whip up support for a proposed wind farm?
Joining a Friends of the Earth Scotland local group will unite you with like-minded people and provide you with the resources, advice and support you need to get active on environmental issues.
Strength in numbersThere are 10 Friends of the Earth local groups in Scotland. (FoE England, Wales and Northern Ireland is a separate organisation).
Our local groups campaign to improve the environment in their own backyard, as well as joining in with campaigns nationally and internationally.
Local groups use a wide range of campaigning tactics, ranging from political lobbying to public education through street stalls, and promoting citizen action. Many groups are also actively involved in injecting genuine policies and practices on sustainable development into plans developed by their local authority .
