The Rock n' Roll Edinburgh Half Marathon promises to be an amazing, fun day combining exercise with rock music, and an opportunity to fundraise for your favourite charity. Scottish band the Red Hot Chilli Pipers will be at the start line. 

Over the last two years, our supporters have raised over £8000 running the Edinburgh half marathon.  The event has now been taken over by the largest operator of endurance events in the world and 2012 promises to be even bigger and better than ever before, with runners coming from all over the world.

Run for us and get a FREE place

If you run for Friends of the Earth Scotland you will receive a free place. In return, we ask you to ask to raise a minimum of £250 in sponsorship. Teams of 5 or more are asked to raise a minimum of £200 per person (so £1000 for 5 people, £1200 for 6 people etc). 

Fundraising is easy using our online sponsorship pages on Virgin Money Giving. All you need to do is set up a page, email it to everyone you know and link to it from your social networking sites. The website collects all the money directly as well as Gift Aid, ensuring we can claim an extra 25p in every £1 donated by tax payers from the Government.
