What is Your Planet our Passion?

Your Planet Our Passion is Friends of the Earth Scotland's first ever fundraising month. We're Scotland's leading environmental campaigning charity with a track record of success spanning more than 30 years. We are an independent Scottish charity that is part of the world's largest grass roots environmental network, Friends of the Earth International.

We campaign for a clean and healthy environment for everyone, both in Scotland and around the world. But we can't do it without your support. Please sign up your school or place of work to Your Planet our Passion or come along to the events we have organised.

Do your bit for the planet - go green, and raise some cash to help us look after the planet for everyone's future. Getting involved is easy.

When is it?

Your Planet our Passion takes place in November across Scotland.

Places of work

We would encourage you to organise a simple fundraiser with a green message, such as:

• a green dress down day (wear vintage/second hand/charity shop clothes) or literally wear green (tie or shirt)
• a book swap
• a swishing event (clothes swap).

You could also do a more traditional fundraiser, such as a cake sale.

Schools

Children of all ages can take part in Your Planet our Passion. Get sponsored to do something green for a day, week, or month depending on the age group and activity. This could be walking to school, growing plants, switching off lights and electrical items when not in use, or any other idea of your choice.

Organise your own

Have you got a brilliant idea of your own?  Love swishing?  Fan of Come Dine with Me and want to recreate it?  Master baker and want to share your goodies with your friends? Hold your own event for Friends of the Earth Scotland and be a part of something fantastic!  Let us know what you're up and our fundraisers will keep in touch and support you. 

What support will I get?

Schools and places of work will receive a fundraising pack and we can also give you materials to raise awareness about environmental issues if you wish. We are also happy to come along and give a talk or presentation.

How much should I raise?

There is no minimum amount to raise. We would like to encourage as many people, schools and organisations to take part as possible in whatever way they can.
