Members' Day - Saturday 31 May

Come and join us at our annual Members’ Day and AGM on the 31 May. This is a great chance to meet fellow supporters, volunteers and staff, and to celebrate campaign victories. You’ll also find out about what the coming year has in store.

There will be loads of opportunities for networking and finding out how you can get more involved in the organisation - so it’s a handy event for everyone involved.

There’s a whole set of things to do on the day - a visual review of the year, networking activities and a free lunch.


Our guest speak this year is Jeff Gazzard.

Jeff Gazzard is a passionate campaigner for a sustainable approach to aviation. He is extremely influential, and a member of many key organisations including the European GreenSkies Alliance and is an advisor to the World Health Organisation and UK Government. Despite this he's still passionate about grass-roots campaigning and the positive changes this brings about.



Also don’t forget the motions debate where you can help shape the organisation moving forward. All you need to do is register to attend.

Climate Change Bill Campaign Seminar and Discussion - Learn about FoES’ current work on the Scottish Climate Change Bill and how you can get involved at critical stages of the campaign and influence future support for activism and local action.

Slim Your ‘Waste’-line by getting active - Find out how to motivate YOUR community to reduce waste - based on the successes of the CREW (Communities Reducing Excess Waste) project we’ll be demonstrating how our ‘waste prevention champions’ took action to engage their communities in waste reduction; learn how you can do the same!

Training for Change Bitesized - Influencing Planning - With the new planning system emerging in Scotland, learn about the changes and your power to influence the development of your local area.
