Conference summary Scotland has a great wealth of renewable energy resources. Many ofthese could be harnessed on our own rooftops - through solar hot waterheaters, mini wind turbines and pv panels.
Aspart of our campaign aimed at ‘realising the rooftop revolution’,Friends of the Earth Scotland hosted a conference of the same name on15 September. Thepresentations were varied and covered topics such legislation, planning, innovation from home-grown industry and, interestingly, lessons that could be taken from the successful roll-out of broadbandacross Scotland.
