A joint response from Friends of the Earth Scotland and the Association for the Conservation of Energy to the consultation concerning better information for house sales. The response details support for the proposed seller surveys as a method of obtaining and disseminating energy performance certificates but requests more detailed guidance on the form these surveys and certificates will take, and harsher penalties for those who breach their duty. It also expresses regret that neither organisation was included on the list of consultees, given the work we have undertaken in this area.
